The 'Dialogue Series' is an archive of videos which has spanned a thirteenth month period. It contains up to nine documentary videos filmed in the family house of the artist in Greece. The documents are filmed using a passive style with the camera statically positioned, evoking a still framing of the space. The videos are in Greek, with English subtitles. Janis Rafailidou's videos such as: the 2nd Dialogue: I am Ashamed of Being Greek; I Detest that I am Human, 4th Dialogue The Fascism of Pregnancy and 5th Dialogue Conspiracy Theory: The whole world is an international conspiracy perhaps represent the space of the domestic and the familial, which incorporates the everyday lives of private individuals, yet at the same time one could argue that the space also provides a forum for rational thought and discussion pertaining to matters of cultural and political significance. These regular conversations on particular themes that the 'Dialogue Series' depicts, perhaps reincarnates the notion of Greek Symposiums in an Ancient Greece.
